Information about KKJN

The foundation Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo Jutsu Nederlands (KKJN) officially represents the International Ryu Kyu Research Society of Hanshi Patrick McCarthy in the Netherlands. KKJN organizes the various martial arts activities with the emphasis on Koryu Uchinadi and Yamane Ryu Kobudo.

KKJN searches for and practices an original and fundamental way of Martial Arts, with high effectiveness and with a strong relation to the functioning of the human body. KKJN facilitates a continuous learning process for every serious practicioner independent of their background in martial arts.
As part of the IRKRS, KKJN executes research on the origin, evolution of unarmed combat. Specifically related to the history of fighting arts in the Netherlands.
KKJN is an open minded organization and strongly acknowledges the cooperation with IRKRS organizations in other countries, like Belgium, Germany etc.
KKJN is authorised to determine the curriculum and grading criteria for the Netherlands.
